CAMPs and CPTs
Delivering Advanced Healing Where Patients Live
Hospital-Grade Wound Care, Without the Hospital
At Agape Life Multicultural Services (ALMS), we bring the latest in wound healing science directly to patients wherever they call home. Through the use of CAMPs (Cellular and Advanced Modalities for wound care) and CPTs (Current Procedural Terminology treatments), our mobile wound care team delivers high-level interventions typically reserved for hospital settings.
From homes to assisted living and skilled nursing facilities, we eliminate the barriers to healing by providing expert care on-site, reducing stress, avoiding unnecessary travel and promoting better outcomes.
What Are CAMPs?
CAMPs stands for Cellular and Advanced Modalities for Products. These are cutting-edge wound care therapies that go beyond basic dressings or creams. CAMPs are designed to:
-
Stimulate new skin growth
-
Improve healing speed
-
Reduce inflammation
-
Minimize infection risk
-
Support difficult or chronic wounds

CAMPs We Use

Some of the Cellular, Acellular and Matrix-Based Products (CAMPs) used in our wound care programs include:
-
Amniotic Membrane Grafts – Placental-derived tissues that help regulate inflammation and support the body’s natural healing process
-
Placental and Perinatal Tissue Allografts – Biologic tissues, including placental and umbilical-derived matrices, known for anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and regenerative properties
-
Collagen Matrices – Acellular scaffolds that support granulation tissue formation and new skin growth
-
Extracellular Matrix (ECM) Products – Biologic frameworks that support cell migration, tissue remodeling and wound bed stabilization
-
Acellular Dermal Matrices (ADM) – Structural matrices that reinforce the wound bed and support durable tissue repair
-
Decellularized Tissue Scaffolds – Human-derived tissues processed to retain structural integrity while supporting regeneration
-
Xenograft-Based Biologic Matrices – Acellular matrices derived from non-human sources used to support healing in complex wounds
-
Cellular Skin Substitutes – Advanced biologic products designed for large, deep or non-healing wounds where standard care is insufficient
-
Bioengineered Skin Equivalents – Tissue-engineered products that mimic key layers of skin to assist complex wound closure
These advanced therapies are typically used when wounds have stalled, failed to respond to standard treatment or are complicated by conditions such as diabetes, poor circulation, pressure injuries or multiple comorbidities.
What Are CPTs?
CPTs stands for Current Procedural Terminology codes. These are the standardized billing codes recognized by Medicare and insurance companies to classify medical services including wound care procedures.
At ALMS, we ensure:
-
All services are billed under appropriate CPT codes
-
Wound care visits are typically covered under Medicare Part B
-
Our documentation is compliant with CMS regulations
-
There’s no cost to your facility (for our care partners)

Why This Matters
Using CAMPs allows us to provide more effective, less invasive wound care with results that help prevent complications, reduce hospitalizations and improve quality of life. Using CPTs ensures that care is provided within the right legal and financial framework for both patients and care partners.
Together, CAMPs and CPTs are how we bring innovative care and peace of mind directly to the people who need it most.
